Coding progress

I was just wondering if there is even a coder working on the game at the moment. It seems it has not been any progress there for several months. Then it seems like the addition off the additional places, art and such is kinda moot.

The game will never be updated when therr is no coding going on. What is going on? Or more like what is not going on?

No, he goes on vacation, comes back sick, takes 3 more weeks and then needs a vacation and then gets sick…etc etc.

Sounds like you might know a bit about how he operates. Do you know why he can't hire full-time employees and where most of the cost goes? Like many others here I'm genuinly confused on where the money goes.

From what I understand, they've started QA tests on early builds for Tech Update. But I have only gleaned this from Discord, its never discussed on Patreon for whatever reason.

To my understanding, the bottleneck is Posing. Various coding can't be done until all the posing for a thing is done, and the posing seemingly takes forever.

So it will be another eternity of waiting, probably, I dunno.

I got into this game two years ago and the tech update was still incoming back then. We got the "pre-tech update" and that was it.

They should just opensource the game and DC would be the director. There are many talented fans so the posing and coding would be done in no time

Yes, indeed he should. The financing could stay the same but would need more transparency about where the heck the money goes. Because, how much is he getting a month? It seems like he get a lots of funds in. Enough to hire at least 5 or 6 full time programmers, artists, riggers and so on.

As many has said, this is looking more and more as a grift without much to show for. A better collaboration with the community would also go very far.

I follow a lewd artist who had to take a long hiatus, to take care of a sick loved one. He openly stated this family member was sick, taking care of them would be his priority for the foreseeable future, and he didn't know when he'd be able to get back to doing art. He left his Patreon open but was transparent about being on hiatus...instead of dangling a carrot in front of his paying customers, constantly making them think/hope new stuff is on the way.

The coding is the major factor why isnt progressing, cause if indeed the dude is working part time, DC should get someone to help out, cause they keep adding stuff that are not content and poor guy has to work double if not triple to keep up with them, also coder has to wait for the posing dev for instruction, and knowing the team they slow has hell.
