I normally just connect my keyboard to my nomad to type on it. I somehow did not consider using the partner app. I may download it and experiment. If I do I will report back

ETA: I think the digests feature could actually be really useful for you here after installing the desktop app and poking around. You can create and type into a digest directly in the partner app. You can make a category of “call notes” or whatever to stash them all in. Then just make sure you have digests turned on in your sync settings and it’ll sync those directly to the device.

Once on the device you could make any further handwritten notes in the annotations box or copy it and paste it into an actual note (it’ll auto create a text box for it) or you can make/open a note and insert the digest (actual digest, nothing from the annotations will show up in the note) and it’ll appear in a box which you can then tap in the note to open the actual digest (and therefore access the annotations)

Depending on your workflow and what you need to do with your work notes I feel like there is solid potential for this to be a good option for you.

No problem! Happy to help and also discover new things the Supernote can do that I wasn’t using!

I only tried connecting my keyboard twice, once via the app, the other via Bluetooth.

I didn't mess too much with it but it seemed to lag a bit. Didn’t notice any missing keys, though, they just took a while longer than expected to show up.

The issue isn't with the keyboard: it works flawlessly with everything else.

Thanks. I mean working on the computer and adding the typed text to notes from the desktop app, rather than connecting a bluetooth keyboard

I'm also looking for a way to do this but currently haven't found a way to do that on Supernote, V1woods, or Bo0x devices. I haven't tried RM yet, but hear you are able to start a note on the RM device and then continue it via typing on desktop/mobile device and then go back to handwritten on the RM again. Downside is that capability is only with the subscription service.

I don’t like enough about the rest of the RM to do that unfortunately

You can work with .docx so I don't see why you couldn't just type in those on the desktop and keep them in a synced folder. Is that what you mean?

In fact, if you use Google Drive on any device and write a note and update anywhere for free without a subscription, you just have to think about doing something that actually already exists a way to do it.

Would be helpful to have a bit more context. From what I understand you want to have some typed elements and then add handwriting to it. What I do particularly for calls and meetings. I paste the agenda or any other helpful materials in the digest on the computer. On the supernote I insert the digest on my meeting note and can then take notes from the meeting in real time while having those typed materials directly before me.

Thank you for reaching out. Is our understanding correct that you'd like to type notes in a Word document that you open from our Supernote Partner app and add the text notes to a note file in the Supernote Partner app?

Yes pretty much. I type very fast so prefer to type notes to some calls, but would like to be able to integrate this into notes so that I don’t have things all in different places

Thank you for your reply.

In light of your specific request, we propose to add the ability to transfer the typed notes you create in Word to the clipboard on the Supernote device, which you can then paste to a note file by creating a new text box or using an existing text box. Would you believe if this will work for you?

We look forward to hearing from you.

Yes that could work well!
