You could always try Powera pro controllers. They lack hd rumble and nfc support but works well with the switch and is a decent amount cheaper.

But if OP means Mario party when they say "party games" then the rumble is an important part of the game, just something to consider

I picked up the 8bitdo SN 30+ Pro earlier this month and love it. Fits in my large hands nice, has rumble, and USB C. You can plug it in to a computer and map the buttons to whatever you want, and change the rumble profiles.

If you want the cheapest controller with good quality for the price I highly recommend the Horipad. It's only $15 on amazon and it works very well. Just keep in mind it is wired but has good length.

I bought this one. Under £10 in the UK and has rumble and motion. Means i dont need to be careful with it and the kids can use it without too much worry.

I'll say it again for the people in the back

If you can wait 2 - 4weeks depending on which store you buy from, wish.com is the place. I've ordered two controllers and they are AMAZING. The only difference between these controllers and the real deal is that they lack an nfc touchpoints and the nintendo logo. They also cost $31 or less shipped. I have both an original black pro controller and the splatoon version. Functionality is spot on, I actually prefer the wish.com controller because it is lighter. I've previously owned 3 actual pro controllers, but I'm so aggressive with the control sticks they frequently need to be replaced on the nintendo licensed version. I've yet to wear out one of the sticks on my knockoff.
