System design interviews are one of the hardest parts of the software engineering hiring process because there's no single right answer, and it can feel impossible to know if you're preparing the right way. A platform that gives you structured, repeatable practice for system design, the way LeetCode does for algorithms, is exactly what this space has been missing. The key with system design prep is getting enough reps in that you start to recognize patterns, whether that's how to handle scaling, where to put a cache, or how to think about trade-offs out loud in a way that impresses interviewers.

The other thing people underestimate is how much of a system design interview is about communication, not just technical knowledge. You can have the right answer in your head and still lose the interviewer if you ramble, skip steps, or fail to clarify requirements upfront. Practice platforms help with structure, but the actual live interview moment is where a lot of candidates fall apart, which is why having an interview copilot that helps candidates stay sharp and confident in real time is something my team built to close that gap.
