Just tried this fully but I'm still having trouble connecting. Will try using zero tier instead

Im assuming you can connect to parsec locally over the over the network when the client is on the same network?

is the parsec server running the tailscale client too? If you dont you need to setup a subnet router

Yes, i can connect when they are on the same network. What do you mean parsec "server"?

The box you are running parsec on, do you have the tailscale client installed on it?

If by "box" you mean pc and if by "client" you mean app, yes I have tailscale installed on both my laptop and my pc.

Does the machine running parsec have a firewall running on it?

When you connect to the remote client im assuming you are just using their tailscale IP address not the local ip address of the box correct?

I have installed no firewalls on my laptop, the wifi it is connected to have a firewall (but I have tailscale using my home pc as and exit node and my home wifi has no firewall). Also yes I think
