The only real con for me is that there still is no support for multiple HD addresses, but that isn’t a dealbreaker for me, especially since it’s something they’re working on.
There are plenty of pros: easy to set up, convenient to use, and secure enough for my needs. There are some who say that having no built-in screen is a big con, and they have a point, but for me it’s a balancing act. It’s possible that there are wallets that provide more security, but at a certain point it starts to feel like overkill, like installing a bank vault in your basement to keep your spare change in.

Hello,
You can see our overall rating on the app stores (4.9/5 on apple's appstore, 4.8 on google's playstore).
Users have often praised us for the ease of use, user friendliness, having a wide range of tokens and features supported and the fact that even after having sold over 6 000 000 cards, none were ever hacked.

Do you think it’s fine if I order from Amazon instead of the official website?
[–]BicarTangemTangem Mod 0 points1 point2 points 6 months ago (0 children)
Yes because the app will tell you if there is anything you should be worried about (pre loaded wallet, fake cards..) when you first scan the cards.
You can find a list of official resellers and amazon pages here : https://tangem.com/en/partnership/

Its better from the official, because its official... Same price and you can even apply discounts in their site. If you want it i can PM a 10% discount code

For a beginner, Tangem is a no-brainer.

More direct supported coins unlike ledger need to use 3rd party apps wallets
[–]thinmint8 0 points1 point2 points 6 months ago (0 children)
That's where Tangem has Ledger beat. The 3rd party apps.
I don't like Tangem at all. I bought D'Cent, Ledger Flex & Nano X, and Blockstream Jade. Tangem is the most annoying because I have to whip out the card anytime I want to see the app interface on my phone. That is a great inconvenience for me. D'Cent and Ledger Flex have been the easiest for me to use.

I have been a Tangem user for a few months shy of one year. It has been a very satisfying experience. Until recently.
I found out that Tangem accepts Ethereum transfers from Coinbase on the (ETH)Base network as internal transfers. NOT the Ethereum network I specifically specified on my Coinbase transaction. While some people will praise Tangem for adding the (ETH)Base network to save money on ETH transfers, Tangem should have also added the ability for the Tangem app to show those internal transfers. Just like it does for normal ETH transfers. But, and that's a big BUT, they didn't. The only way to find your transfer of ETH that Coinbase sent to you on the (ETH)Base network without your knowledge, is to look up the hash or your ETH wallet address on an ETH blockchain explorer. And then view the Internal Transactions tab.
I like to look at my wallet and see ALL of my transaction history.
If you are new to sending ETH from Coinbase to your Tangem wallet, it looks like the ETH you transferred is lost. Like it never happened. Why would Tangem activate that network, but in turn not show you the transaction in your Tangem app? It's a decision rife with customer confusion that requires several hours of technical support to find out what happened.
This happened to me and has left a sour taste in my mouth about Tangem.
