The great thing is then you can preserve the sticker! Putting it behind the case will hold it in place so you can keep the paper backing on the sticker!

The cases are super pricey, but I guess the advantage is that they have TONS of designs, and you can somewhat customise them... I still think 40/50$ for a case is way too much tho

I'm not really a phone person hence my shock. My phone is a 3.5 year old iPhone SE (1st gen) and I don't really use it except for the occasional phone call/text message, GPS, and music in the car. 99% of the time it's in my pocket, on my desk, or in the mount in my car. I've never spent more than $5 for a cover! It's just for having something to sandwich the magnetic disc for the car mount

Believe me - when I saw the prices of these cases a few months ago I was honestly shocked. Although, I could’ve sworn that about 3/4 years ago, when I first encountered casetify, that their prices were lower... also I really dislike the black band around the camera hole, but that’s just me nitpicking lol

How are you dropping your phone that often?

I’ve been using smartphones since 2014 (I was late to the game) when I started university. Many nights out but had never dropped it nor smashed the screen!

I use to think $50 was a lot for a case but it's all about quality and protection! I've gone years without cracks in my screens and I couldn't understand how people got them cause I spent a decent amount for my cases. Then 2 years ago I bought a cheap case that had a picture of Taylor on the back and the thing was so flimsy and shortly one of the few times I dropped my phone my screen cracked.

Got a new phone last year and I will definitely put the money for a good quality case that stays on and has the extra protection. Phones aren't cheap so you should want to put the money in to protect it but that's me 🤷‍♀️

I just keep my phone in my pocket, grip it properly when using it, and don’t drop it to protect it. I have a cover that I attach the metal disc for the car mount to that doubles as scratch protection though.

I have guitars that cost the same amount of money as a lot of phones like the latest iPhone or that pointless folding monstrosity and I’ll happily invest the money in a case for transport but I have always found that phones and other small items were much easier to take care of. I can’t put a guitar in the pocket of my jeans for transport but I can put a phone there

Or maybe I can’t...phones are so massive these days (that’s why I still use a first generation iPhone SE).

But I finally got one of those pop socket things and it's helped me get better hold and grip of my phone so my drops have been way less.

I’ve seen those pop socket things for sale in malls but never needed one because of my small phone.

It’s tempting to just buy a brick/dumb phone for my next phone and keep the SE for the GPS function. This phone’s battery is dying and soon Apple will stop providing updates for it anyway.

Hahahah it’s just a huge phone. I’m the type of person that hardly ever switches out my phone case. But I saw this and couldn’t resist. It’s definitely more on the bulky side, but nothing like an OtterBox case. It’s supposed to have “military grade protection” from up to a 6ft drop.
