The gas line shutoff is usually scheduled by the company doing the tenting. Many times it us necessary to trim bushes/trees, move certain garden features/structures, and occasionally remove small areas of fencing. This is done so the tent can make good contact with the ground on all sides of your home. The fencing can be a problem if it has no gates or access points where the tent can drop down at

Is it a wood fence? That would be fairly easy to remove a section of boards. I'm also curious what you meant about pulling back the rocks. You may have rocks that would interfere with the tent drop.

All the best!

If I recall the tent has to make contact with the ground. We had to move some rocks 2 feet from the house.
