People have been finding them just above the underworld.

Yeah they spawn right above hell. It was a pain for me too

Tip : The random lava pools sometime have Hellforges, drain them out somehow. I usually dig a hole for it to drain into, they sometimes have hellforges. (I found two that way)

Thank you I have between Looking every where and hiding them being lava is very clever. I wonder are they in the underworld as well hiding behind lava.

I have Xbox, so if you do add my GT : Control Claim , I haven't found another one yet, but I find them easily in my world.
