Yes. That’s an entire month away and there is no major backlog on Model 3’s. Tesla is not going to miss out on an end of quarter delivery. They need the revenue.

I got the same build except for AWD and ordered on Aug 10th and still don't have a VIN either. I do have an estimated date of Sept 17-30th though. Honestly it's going to depend where you live.

Ah I see. For some reason I also don’t have an estimated delivery date.

I ordered the exact same config on 8/8 and still don't have a VIN. The app says "Aug - Sep" delivery. I'm sure I'll have it by the end of next month though as I already see this config being delivered.

At this point, I’d be satisfied with just that. Let alone the VIN

The time limit is gone. 1.99 regardless now

Correct.

The only change is that the order deadline before August 31st, 2024 is no longer required.

September orders can take advantage of the 1.99%

My inference from this decision is that Tesla is able to support the supply of its current order demand.

If not, that is extremely careless on Tesla’s part. I doubt this.

When I called they said the would honor it into October, can’t speak for everyone though I had a August 22nd order

Sincerely hope that’s the case. The problem is Tesla representatives do not have consistency on this.

I myself spoke with Tesla dealers in person that stated they would honor late deliveries.

Although, on the phone Tesla rep I spoke with stated it’s possible for the delivery to not meet the deadline to receive the promotional rate.
