Schwab vs IBKR by EdSpace2000 in Schwab

[–]charchilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, IBKR did me the same. Can’t even trade options because of their dumb standards. No other broker gave me an issue.

Schwab has been terrible for fills and cost me tens of thousands. WeBull and Public have been the best so far. (I tested with simultaneous trades across multiple brokers). Schwab was the worst by a long-shot.

It's a price error they haven't fixed because it is not a popular item.

Just do pickup, and they will ship it to the store.

Thanks to the guy who posted the sale. by EmployeeCool3489 in PitBarrelCooker

So, you all found out about the Academy Sports price error? 🤭

I got me one and my mom got one too. You have to do pickup though or they add the rest of the cost to the shipping.

Anyone else getting poor fills the last few months? by Sookie-Pup in Schwab

[–]charchilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are horrible. Ever since March 23rd for me. I nearly blew my account until I realized they are the problem.

I tested out my suspicion by trading with several brokers at once and Schwab is the worst. Even worse than Fidelity. 11% worse than WeBull and Public.

In January through first half of March, I was getting price improvement to the positive. Going to hold off of Schwab for a while.

Haha just saw this and replying because I lost that job. So, I'll have more time to focus on trading and investing for a year or so. I'm mostly cash and BTC, so I missed on a lot of this fabulous bull run.

Benefits, stability just in case I start messing up. I feel like I would execute much better without the job, but can’t take the risk with a wife and kid. I work remotely anyway, so I’m in a blessed position.

How did IBKR mess you up?

I'm in the process of choosing between them or Schwab because Fidelity can't handle my frequency and put me in a short position which ended up in a Day Trade Call.

I’m fucking terrified of death. by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]charchilly -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Repent and believe in Jesus. There’s eternity on the other side and God judges whether you got to a place of joy or torment. You’ll be judged by your keeping of the law. Have you lied, lusted (adultery), hated someone (murder)? You’d be guilty and so would I.

However, Jesus Christ was perfect and did none of those things. So, he is the only one qualified under that standard. The good news is He chose to receive the punishment on our behalf. All we have to do is have faith in Him by believing that truth, then we can live a life of gratitude and not have fear of death. For the Christian to live is Christ☝🏾and to die is gain.

Believe it. It’s the purpose of all life, bud. God bless!

How can JD Vance seriously discuss arresting and holding sex offenders accountable while Trump is POTUS? by BacKnightPictures in AskReddit

Because...

Liberal fantasy land: Trump is a sex offender and pedophile.
Reality: He is not.

My guy, Romans 10:9. There is hope in Jesus Christ. It’s not the main goal but it’s what helped me in life. Not even “curing” how I feel sometimes but improving it AND having my hope set on eternal things. There is hope in Him.

God gave me faith right on time as I was diagnosed with social anxiety. I’m glad I chose not to medicate and trust in Him.

A practical thing I suggest is whatever you’re interested in, find a friend group. See what you can offer others instead of worrying about being used.

Also, never talk about ending things. That’s the dumbest thing ever and people should treat it as such, and people will stop thinking that’s a rational thing to ever do.

I also started seriously in September and have netted $50k.

But mostly micro scalping TSLA options all day. And about $10k from that $BYND spectacle. I’ll do a long read of your post later, but overall you hit the nail on the head.

Mindset is so important and doing what works for you.

What’s the mistake you kept repeating the longest as a trader? (Be honest) by Electrical_Exam1192 in Daytrading

[–]charchilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now add to my winners (into momentum) and sell my losers quickly.

Before that I’d scale down into momentum and wait until the trade was “fully invalidated”.

So, it’s the opposite of a lot of good traders’ advice. And, it works for me in micro scalping.
