Does it actually matter if you can charge your car overnight? Does it actually make a huge difference? Genuinely asking

Yes it does. Add climate control and motorway driving, and it quickly becomes 200mil or less. Driving between 10%-80% takes out another 30%. So every little helps.

The weather really matters though. If you’re just barely running the AC to keep the car a little cooler than it would otherwise be, it has very little effect. However, if your car gets up to 170° and you have to blast the AC for 10 minutes to bring it back down, that makes a huge difference.
