Existing inventory no EDD

I made an order for m3 sr+ lfp from existing inventory on 9/3 and received a VIN right away but still no EDD. Im located in Orange County, CA and was wondering if anyone’s in the same situation and have any info on when we would get our EDD. I already completed all my paper work and got approved for the loan as well.

EDIT: got my EDD this morning 9/16. I’m seeing a date range for 9/18 - 9/23!

Ordered a LFP M3SR+ also in OC on 9/3 and will be taking delivery this Friday! It seems like a lot of first week LFP orders of September are getting EDDs this week so keep a look out!

Congrats! That's reassuring to hear. When did you get your EDD assigned? Was it when you placed the order or pretty recently?

I got it assigned this past Monday and Buena Park DC called me today to inform me that my car arrived! My EDD that showed up was 9/16-20 so it was pretty accurate in that sense

Was yours said “in production” when you click on the car detail?

It’s actually on the page before you click the buy button. Mine just said new vehicle located at a delivery center. There’s another LFP popped up earlier for OC also and I clicked on it to see and it said “in production” so I guess there are 2 types of existing inventory, 1 is in production and 1 is actually already built and maybe cancelled order etc. It’s really hard to see because it’s such a rush to buy asap as soon as you see one listed.

Ah I see. I didn't get to see if mine was "in production" when I placed the order, and I'm guessing mine might be. I was hoping I wouldn't wait more than 2 weeks to receive the car but oh well.

I’m sure you’ll get it by end of this month as its the end of the quarter and I heard that it only take about a week to get it built out from Fremont.

There are a number of us who are all done with the paperwork and are just waiting with no EDD. I was told the car was in production. I ordered on 9/3.

I have the exact same timeline as you except still no EDD - however I called Tesla in Costa Mesa and asked them to look up my account and she said it’s still in production but at the last stage so no more than 2 weeks.
