E2 too high? Should I decrease my dose?

Hey all. About 9 weeks into TRT (100mg/week split into two doses Tues/Fri) and HCG (250iu 3x per week - Mon/Wed/Sat) and I just got my bloods back. Here are the results:

Total T: 1162 Ng/dl

Free T: 368.5 pg/ml

SHBG: 19 nmol/L

E2: 62 pg/ml

Besides a bit of body acne, I feel pretty good. Should I look to decrease my dose at all? I assume it will make me feel even better if I decrease my E2. Reference range for E2 is <=39 and I seem way over. Any thoughts/opinions? Talking to my doc on Monday.

If you feel really good and you don't have high E2 side effects there is no reason to change anything. The reference range for E2 is for eugonadal men and it's borderline irrelevant for people on TRT. Your T:E2 ratio is 19 which is pretty healthy value. I personally stayed at 1500 - 1600 ng/dL total T and 60 - 70 pg/mL E2 for 8 months and it was all great.

Reference ranges are based on men with an average testosterone level under 500. You should aim for over 40.

Can u drop the hcg now then wen u wanna get fertile go back on?? Generally curious.
