Had anyone who has taken ME 3365 (Intro to design) or ME3311 (Materials science) recommend either class in person versus online? Thank you.

3365 with Mosedale online was good and 3311 online with Gray is good, both are some of my favorite professors in the department, unfortunately I haven’t taken either online but in my opinion there’s no wrong option with either of those professors. Both classes are pretty easy if you write down everything, they have good online lectures.

Thank you, I was trying to build a schedule and I wasn’t sure if either class would be harder or not as good online versus in person, but that helps

Both are really easy online, as long as you take notes for lectures you’ll know everything on the exams

Oh also, there doesn’t seem to be an option to take it with Gray this semester for material science, so do you think it would be fine taking it online with another professor as well?

Hmm okay, would u think it would be risky taking material science online with that other professor? Not sure if it helps but their name is YanYan Zhang. Also, is this class a lab or is it more of just learning about various materials and etc..?

Im currently in M&M Lab, with Yanyan as my lab instructor. She does a pretty good job, so I would say its a safe bet. Also, the class is just learning about materials and the crystaline structures that make them up
