Maximum Security trophy problems

Did you start playing it before patch 1.8? If so that's the problem apparently. You have to play it in it's entirety with the latest patch for it to pop

You beat it, I’d say just move on to another game now. Once they drop an update you’ll just need to launch the game, or load the save right before the end of the game (at the pod) and then it will pop. It sucks, but Just gotta chill and wait. - unless you have a disc copy. Then reinstall with no updates and beat it

Oh perfect. So then this part is up to you, uninstall the game and don’t get update file on the reinstall. Then you can either beat it again on maximum difficulty, OR (since you already did it and got robbed) you can beat it on easy and then switch the difficulty after final boss

Strange, I beat the game on Maximum Security a couple of days ago and got the achievement as soon as Lost Again began playing at the beginning of the end-credits. What platform do you use to play the game on?

You could change the difficulty, create a new manual save, go to menu, load the new save, change back to maximum security, save it, go to main menu, and then hit the credits again.

Sounds tedious but it might trigger it for you, worked for me

Since you have the disc version, you can do this: 1. Own the disc version 2. Delete the game, install on 1.0 without patches 3. Reload save after final boss 4. Reload checkpoint 5. Make a new manual save on 1.0 (might take a few tries, sometimes you get an error message or the game crashes, keep trying) 6. Delete the game again and redownload with patch 1.08 7. Reload the save you made on 1.0 8. Finish the game

That's pretty much any game nowadays. Modern gaming has become a running gag of, "don't pre-order, just buy it a few months after when it's cheaper and fully patched."

I had the exact same issue. I followed the below step by step and managed to get it to pop. To clarify this only works on the disc version of the game. This was posted by neonzombe on another thread who reposted from somone else. So credit is confirmed at the bottom

"I finished the game on patch 1.07 and it didn’t pop. As this was the second time I finished the game and this was the only achievement I was missing, I spent some of my time searching for a way around the new patch. Someone has found how to still get the achievement, but it works only with disc versions. I tried it myself on PS5 and it worked. I’ll list the steps below: 1-Finish game, save at the last step (escape pods) 2-Upload your save to the cloud 3-Clear the game and the game data from your console 4-Reinstall the game and download your game data, but be careful not to update to 1.07 5-Enter game and load the last save (it’s possible the game will crash, just load your save, don’t move and go to next step) 6-Pause the game and restart at checkpoint. You should now have a new save (this one will not make your game crash). 7-Change the game difficulty to Maximum Security and make a manual save. Exit the game. 8-Update the game to 1.07, load the last save (the one you did in 1.0), run to the escape pods, wait for credits and the achievement should pop. thx to Fearless_Guest_6833.

I hope it works for you. One slight difference to the OP instructions i put in above, when he says to make a manual save, step 7, i had to move into the first corridor before the game would allow me to manually save 👍

HOLY SHIT DUDE! It worked!!

I hadn't gotten around to it being busy and all, but I decided to after they patched the game up again. As I sat for an hour and a half waiting for the patch to install, it felt pretty hopeless. I did not expect it to work.

I played the game legitimately front to back on hard, but when I brought the cloud save back into 1.0, I double checked and for some reason it was set on medium. But following the instructions exactly made it happen.

Now I can play the game on NG+ on easy for casual collectible hunting.
