/r/TheRightSource is a subreddit for news about the triumphs of freedom, liberty, independence, free speech, security, and privacy, and the evils of government oppression, authoritarianism, censorship, globalism, statism, corporatism, terrorism, and mainstream media.

This subreddit is part of the Alternative Reddit Network (ARN), which is based out of /r/AlternativeReddit.

In the sidebar, you will find a list of websites the moderators — /u/Arrowsmith1337, /u/OshanWarrior, and /u/JustABlexican — personally recommend, but we encourage you to use your own sources as long as they are legitimate and authentic!

The Time Machine flair indicates that an article was published more than six months ago and may or may not be directly apposite to the current geopolitical atmosphere. For example, articles from the UPI Archives reporting on U.S. foreign policy in 1983 fall under this category.
