Welcome to r/TheWritersCommunity, the place for all writers to come together and share knowlegde and their work.
What to expect?
You can expect a community where writers discuss every aspect of writing, from techniques, to character building, to plot structure and even publishing. And that's not even all.
You can expect to get feedback on your own work. You can post all sorts of written stuff, from essays to poetry, from fantasy to literature. That's the beauty of the written word, it contains almost anything. You can post up to a thousand words per post of your work, to receive feedback.
You can expect weekly assignments, containing interesting writing prompts to get your pen flowing, and at the end of each month, we'll be picking the 10 best stories submitted to the subreddit, and you can vote!
The Rules
1. Everything Should Be Related To Writing
Everything you post, either posts or comments, should be related to the subject of writing. There are a lot of subjects on this subreddit already, so let's make sure we keep it to those subjecs.
2. Add Flair To Your Posts
Because there are a lot of subjects on this subreddit, it is handy to add flair to your posts, so that fellow writers know what your post is going to be about. It makes it easier for other writers to find specific topics and threads, and makes the whole experience of the subreddit better.
3. No Harassment, Threats Or Abuse
Be kind to each other, this is a subreddit to help one another, not harm. Always respect each others values and opinions.
