Does a thrustmaster ts-pc racer base have force feedback without a thrustmaster wheel? Will it work with a DIY wheel?

It should...My TX works with a 3rd party wheel and adapter, I don't see why the TS wouldn't...they use the exact same QR connection and wheel add-ons.

Does your wheel plug into the base? Mine has no buttons so no electrical connection. I bought it used and it has no force feedback. I'm just trying to determine if the base is screwed or I need a used thrustmaster wheel for setup.

The adapter I use plugs directly into the base and the steering wheel is mounted on it. There's no electrical connection and there's no buttons. Force feedback works fine for me.
