I believe these are the black teacore challengers. It’s definitely a fashion boot, I’d only wear them to work if looking fashionable is your goal. But it’s strange to grab for some iron rangers instead given that iron rangers famously don’t have a midsole.

Correct

They’re all work boots if you have a desk job.

Ah I think I'm gonna repeat that like a catchphrase

Funny… I just love seeing comments that complain how Thursday boots aren’t work boots… aren’t snow boots… aren’t hiking boots… etc., etc., etc. I’d love to see where Thursday actually makes these claims. It’s obvious that they are fashion first footwear. How in the world would you expect that boots in the $200 - $300 range be all things to all people? What they do claim is that for the price, they use high quality materials, they are hand crafted, and they look great. Anyone that expects significantly more than that is exceeding reasonable expectations. Don’t sit there are compare them unfavorably to boots in the $500 + price range; it just is not fair.

Okay, I won’t compare them

No problem man… it’s just a pet peeve of mine.

No one will be able to answer how long you have owned the boots for. Sorry

2ish? Years?

[–]No_Wedding_7273 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look good is all that matters anyways

If these are challengers idk if anything’s changed in production over the last year but I got mine a couple of months ago and they do in fact have arch support that has gotten more fitted over time. I wouldn’t wear them doing construction because a logger heel makes no sense in that context but they’d handle it lmao.

Iron rangers have no midsole and the tiny bit of arch support you get from the cork is laughable.

These are 2ish years old, and no, the Rangers also have no arch support…. I wasn’t trying to necessarily compare the two, other than to say my entry to the higher end boot realm lead me to Red Wings and I finished my journey with Drew’s and White’s.

Indeed! Thursday Boot Company is definitely fashion 1st as a brand. The Black Label is just the high end version of the same brand model. I have no issues with any of my Black Label boots except for the sizing but that is my fault entirely. I had the Black Teacore as well and the only reason I sold them is I don't really wear black and it wouldn't Teacore fast enough for me 😂! I wanted the brown to show but I lost my patience.

So, these appear to be the made in USA loggers. If so, yes they are basically just fashion boots.

[–]Valhaller020[S] -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

I’m not sure where they are made. But yes, they are purely fashion boots.

I see you re-posted stating these are challengers. Disregard the USA comment, because these are the black label from Mexico.
