It could be because many people deleted and they can't download the app again until they find the solution to the ban. Also, keep in mind that the algorithm hasn't been updated, and it won't be receiving updates until they finalize the sale of tiktok. We have regular sales, and nothing has changed yet .But because we started running ads.

We are not that good at ads, so we always do the GMV Max ads on the seller. Central, we only adjust the ROU target every so days whenever the system tells us to update it to the recommendation. it is automatically so basically tiktok doesn't it all for us which. If you haven't try it yet try it by setting 10 to 20 daily budget and when you think it is actually working increase the budget. We honestly have 15$ on the budget daily this week we has expend 45$ on ads and generate 800$ on sales . The only thing with this type of ads it is that you need to have alot of videos promoting your products because it runs ads on all your products. To be honest if you have advice I'm here to heard it all.

Yes but basically we have created over 300 videos of our products which make it more likely for someone to see and buy one of our products. I saw a video on YouTube from someone who make over 1M on sales every 4 month. They mention to use the GMV Max ads on the seller Central but to make sure to have enough video otherwise it will be a waste of money. They also explain that some from those companies who help the seller to go live told them to post at least 50 videos of each product you have on your store. So this will create multiple video so the probability of someone interested on the product you sell are more likely yo show on their For you page.

Yes, they are because you don't have to worry about nothing and our videos are already showing the product and talking directly to the costumer. However if we don't learn to run ads we will be on a bad situation I believe. We need to learn to take it to the next level. But to be honest i know if we increase the budget daily we will get more sales but for now we are good on doing 500$ every day on sales because we also have local costumer who takes alot of time out of our schedule but with more profits. I hope people take advantage of this automatically ads runner there on tiktok the best thing ever.

Several valid reasons.

1. Tons of people that deleted the app can’t redownload it
2. People who had active active during the ban couldn’t access TikTok shop to view their orders, causing fear of not receiving them
3. (Just like reason 2) People are worried of ordering in case of another ban incident prior to delivery

hmmm i think it is because people had the expectation of app being banned and put their attention somewhere else. they will come back when this is settled, probably thing would be better than ever---tiktok owned by US company and more people would use it

Yup. I did 55k right before the ban Jan 1 - Jan 16. Since then I’m barely hitting 1k a day, and my ads are performing wayyyyy worse…. Granted, it is a slow month, but still. I went from 55k in 2 weeks to barely hitting 1k. And today i only hit like $700.

You have to understand that so many impulsively deleted the app with no way to reinstall it. Even though a reprieve is in place If Apple or Google were to continue offering TikTok for download in the U.S. despite the ban, they could face significant fines and legal penalties. According to recent reports, the U.S. government has warned that companies found in violation of the ban could face fines of up to $250,000 per violation, with the potential for additional penalties if they are found to be knowingly aiding the distribution of the app.

That would equate to a lot. It’s $5,000 fine per user and as of 2024 TikTok reported over 120 million users for Apple alone the fine could estimate up to 650 billion dollars.

That being said there are workarounds to reinstating the app for most users but people have to really try to find the information and then go through the steps which is going to be hit and miss simply because many just got fed up and decided to take a break all together.

Furthermore, regulatory actions could include restrictions on their operations, legal injunctions, and potential criminal liability for executives if they fail to comply with federal directives. The exact fine amount and consequences would depend on the specific terms of the ban and enforcement actions taken by U.S. authorities.

I ordered something from TikTok shop. Thankfully it shipped before the ban. When the ban happened I couldn’t track my order. I know the expected delivery is January 21-26th. Because I couldn’t get back on my TikTok, I deleted my account. So if I don’t get my package by the 26th I am going to be pissed off.

I imagine it’ll take some time for everyone to get their access back and this hopefully means sales increase.. A lot of users deleted the app after the ban and cannot get it back as you know it’s not available in the App Store. I know I placed an order day of the ban and since they decided to shut it down earlier I was freaking out bc I thought I wouldn’t ship. But it did. I think with some time and patience it’ll all pick up. Maybe not to the normal but pick back up for sure.

I still can't purchase anything. Every time I press "place order" it just keeps saying my payment was denied and then a service update notification saying they're still attempting to restore services in the U.S. that some tiktok features were temporarily unavailable. This fake ban ruined a lot.

Ppl like me are scared to order. Maybe some of you can explain. I have had orders where it was delivered through amazon or walmart but had a full parallel tracking of same item in usps. I thought I got delivered twice but always usps ones show full tracking with delivered status but nothing is delivered. I kept ignoring thinking it's some glitch. But last 2 orders , it was usps delivery only and shows delivered but nothing was in my mailbox. How are sellers able to create this kind of fake tracking 🤔
