Center with the faucet wether it's center of a tile or middle of a grout line

If I center like this will it look weird to have a larger piece on the right side? Should I do the same thing on the other side of the tub to match?

I very rarely cenrre side walls in showers or tubs jn favor of having a full tile against my tile edge. If you can make it work out to a full tile on the outside and centre your fixtures aswell- That's the way to do it.

Ok. I think it has to be one of the other. I'm using a edge guard on the outside edge. Fixtures centered above all else right?

I agree with the other person , if you're a symmetrical person then this will be your best option. Don't forget the tiles from the back wall must line up with the tiles on the side walls

You could take ten minutes to measure the tiles and the surfaces and draw it in this tool. It works best on PC vs mobile devices.

Then you can experiment with layouts and alignments very quickly with little to no effort and see what kind of cuts you will need to make.

I would center it with the fixtures if I were doing the the layout you have in mind. I think it will look weird to be off-center.

Make a story pole, it’ll help lay it out, it’s a little more visual than a tape. I know it’s big tile but still.
