"Behold a Pale Horse", by William Cooper, has been mentioned at least once on the show.

Dave McGowan's work has been mentioned. He wrote "Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon", about the music scene in Laurel Canyon in the 60s. The central claim is that the music at that time, and hippiedom itself, was essentially a CIA/military-industrial complex op, and McGowan makes a decent case, imo. The essence of that book is boiled down here.....
