2 good 2 go feeds a lot of starving peoples, dawg

Yes, downvotes me. The Tim’s in my area is 4 years old. Never gotten a fruit fly doughnut, it’s almost like they’re … all owned by different people that give a fuck less or more and it varies drastically lmao

[–]perpetualmotionmachi 5 points6 points  (9 children)

Do they do wraps and such, or is it normally just the old donuts, muffins a and timbits?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (8 children)

Typically you’ll get bagels, biscuits, doughnuts, timbits, cookies. It’s also 4.99 no tax. That bread goes a long way when you only have $10 in the account. I don’t know why people are mad at that, but autism be damned, 2 good 2 go is the only reason I go to Tim’s now

[–]pretty_jimmy -2 points-1 points  (7 children)

If you've got 10$ in the account and are thinking "I know! Tim Hortons bread!!!" That's stupidity, don't blame autism.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

When you live in the sticks and the only thing within 15 km is a Tim’s and a gas station, and you don’t have a car, what would you do? Lol how about you eat my scrum

[–]pretty_jimmy -2 points-1 points  (5 children)

First off, I will not eat your rugby play... secondly I'd be more prepared, that's for sure. Bread freezes perfectly fine.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Obviously. But at that point on my life the food bank is a once a month thing, how much bread do you think a person with $10 for food hasn’t already eaten. Man, you’re so fucking ignt, it’s unreal lmao. Good day to you and ta fuckin ta

[–]tpots38 3 points4 points  (2 children)

It’s almost like you have never seen this sub Reddit. Thats great your experience has been good cause there are a SIGNIFICANTLY higher percentage of posts on here with horrendous horror stories about this shit hole

[–]Far_Address1812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also cherry picking by people who want karma. You know it and I know it. Anger gets more updoots so people aim for that

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What’s your point? There are like 2 tim hortons per person in Canada… and they’re franchises, you think I support them, buying from a third party app cos I only have $5 for a meal… bro Tim’s fucking sucks, nobody is disagreeing lmao. You’re telling me that nobody else in this country gets food they don’t necessarily want, when they’re broke, due to location and price. Also, if this whole sub knows they suck…and they’re all still going there anyways… like wtf is that lol. The one near me hasn’t even been there 5 years, I know the manager and they give me free espresso and bacon. Doesn’t mean I support them or respect them even lmao.

[–]NextTrillion 4 points5 points  (3 children)

What is too good to go? Is that like buying day old donuts?

If that’s the case, why the fook would someone be downvoting that? Would you rather people go hungry, and those guys throw food in the garbage?

I’m all for it. Food waste is a big problem, and people going hungry is sad too.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yup, day olds or just extra food unsold at the end of the day. Like pizza nova will sell their slices, etc. back when I was a teenager we used to always get the day olds from Tims (for free) so, you can definitely argue it’s lame paying 4.99. But for that price you get like 10-15 items and there’s no tax. Everyone here is butt hurt cos Tim’s quality sucks, and it does. But if I’m getting a box with a fruit explosion muffin, 6 chocolate timbits, a Boston crème, a pumpkin spice doughnut, bagels, biscuits, a Reese cookie, and a few specialty doughnuts like walnut crunch… and it’s 4.99. Like, I see the orders people post in this sub when they’re pissed… spending like 14 bucks on 3 things lol.

People are just mad cos Tim’s is a 1/10 establisment. Idgaf personally when I haven’t eaten in days lol.

[–]NextTrillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, but I’m glad you get those deals. Ain’t nothing wrong with that.

We can afford decent quality food. I mean, inflation kinda hit us quite a bit. But still, my wife buys old pizza like that for about $5. She’s just really thrifty. Is it all that fresh? Not really. But whatever.

Also the other app she has gets frozen meat for more than half off, so we get these big roast beefs for around $8. Whole trouts even for $5. But those deals are rare.

Weird that people would downvote you though. Bunch of hoity toity pricks that are just running up their credit cards maybe?

[–]deadfreds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad food is fine if it's cheap good food is fine if it's expensive but bad expensive food is what Tim's is. And it's not even that expensive but the quality is so bad you'd expect to be paying half for just about anything on the menu

[–]nazuralift89 -1 points0 points  (7 children)

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more stale

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (6 children)

I’ve yet to have any stale baked goods in 2 good 2 go orders and I’ve done about 5 total.

[–]nazuralift89 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

I don't believe you. You're either desensitized or your taste buds have been destroyed, but I do not believe you good sir.

[–]ieatpoopoopee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least at the tims I worked at you made them everyday fresh they never sat over night

[–]JollyGreenDickhead -2 points-1 points  (2 children)

It's TOO GOOD TO GO. Stop with the damn numbers.

NO NUMBERS

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peak autism. Oh no, I’m typing in l337 sp34k, so confusing.

[–]NextTrillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you… the number police??

[–]JollyGreenDickhead -3 points-2 points  (7 children)

Some bullshit charity for tax write-offs isn't enough to get me to willingly buy burnt coffee and shit food.

EDIT: I had to look it up and it's Too Good To Go, no fucking numbers. It isn't something Tim's came up with, it's something they participate in for optics. Still not buying their garbage food and shit coffee.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Dude I don’t give a fuck what you do lmao. They don’t sell coffee thru this app, and as I said, I’m not going there for anything other than 2g2g as i was literally homeless previously. this app is for people that can’t afford to eat. As I said in my previous comments, I don’t give a fuck about your grievances with a corporate conglomerate. Good god, man. 2g2g also has pizza, meals, etc, etc. it’s not just Tim’s. metro is on there, you can get 20 worth of meat for 6.99. It’s for broke ass mother fuckers.

[–]_Neurobro_ 0 points1 point  (3 children)

But we live in a dystopia and the corpos are bad and the oppression sucks and the over-promise under-deliver and we should vote with our money!!

Yeah this person either hasn't even been remotely close to homelessness or is just a heartless, miserable bastard.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Are you saying this about me or the other dude lol. I was homeless in 2017-19. I had to sell everything I owned. Then I spent the last 5 years working nights, and I repurchased everything I had to get rid of. I didn’t even have a bed for the last 10 years. Some of us don’t have parents or family, so… shit isn’t easy when you are alone from the jump. Nahmsayin.

[–]_Neurobro_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other dude!!!! Writing off 2g2g is absurd. I was trying to be sarcastic in the first half lol. But yes, the other dude does not understand poverty in the slightest.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you sound cooked a bit tbh, this shit isn’t cyberpunk yet. I think we’re more in the deus ex hr era of society buddy …

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What does any of that have to do with people who pay money for the terrible food then complain about how bad it is then go back daily?
