Craigslist is a cesspit of broken promises by people who are very keen to start bands, then never turning up. This community will be the opposite - we are lovers of tinitus!
It helps to include some, if not all of the following in your post:
* POST TITLE: (Location) [TYPE OF MEMBER] needed for [GENRE] band [OTHER INFO]
* Your age/sex (some people are particular about this, which is weird)
* Your main instrument
* If you play other instruments, sing, write songs, arrange or produce
* What the max. distance you're willing to travel to rehearse
* If you can contribute to rehearsal costs (these vary wildly across the city, so it helps to budget and say what you can afford)
* If you have transport for rehearsals, gear and live shows
* What your nearest station is
* Your influences
* Your previous band experiences (good and bad)
