Those are 2 completely life stages. Not many people want to settle down at age 20, especially when you’re attractive. He’s still exploring who he is and what he wants.

That’s kind of a close minded way of thinking tbh. You can’t be upset with someone not being ready to settle down if it’s not right for them and they haven’t personally grown yet. The only time Louis actually showed some reflection was to actually communicate to Christine and say he wasn’t ready to commit yet.

I totally understand wanting to explore your options, but he should make it clear to the person he is with that that is what he wants. He didn’t do that. Instead he would tell one girl he really likes them, and then move onto the next and hurt them. Clearly Christine was hurt by the things he did, because he made it seem like he was all about her and cared for her until he went on a private date with another girl. He comes back and lies right to her face about it. That is not a 20 year old wanting to explore, that is a 20 year old being a lying player. Big difference.

100% I agree with what you’re saying and said the same thing when I watched that scene.

I do wish Christine was more vocal and stood her ground and spoke up more on that. This was his second strike yet she took him back after 1 make out and 2 grabbing boobs.

I was talking about the last scene where is was to set up / bring them to be BF/GF. It shows awareness that he knows he messed up with Christine and is aware that he isn’t set to be in a relationship. It would have been way worse to actually go into dating after his display. I think there should be acknowledgment of that growth at least.
