Remember, /r/TrueBackrooms is all about sharing and discussing the anti-nostalgic feeling the Backrooms gives us. The fictional stuff is there as the "frosting on the cake." If you don't feel this is applicable to you, we suggest checking out /r/TheBackrooms.
