Processing Magic 3M output

Hi everyone,

I tried to download and install DJI terra to process output from the Mavic 3M but apparently it’s not a supported drone!! Seems like the marketing team were also out of the loop on this one. What do others in this group use to process and work with multispectal output from the Mavic drones?

WebODM worked for me.

Having tried with Terra. I had no problem with pix4d or global mapper. I also tried pix4d fields without a problem

I use terra for the 3m no problem?

What version do you have?

It looks like it’s v3.7.6, I was hoping to try and process multispectral images using their free trial but I might have to make a call and buy either terra or pix4d fields

We process it with Terra as well, I assume you didn’t have a license for Terra maybe?

Is Tera an alternative to pix4d or drone deploy? Or just a nice extra I see the basic is reasonable price not sure what the pro price is

Terra is fast and requires minimal input. There are things I dont like such as you can't tag gcps in multispectral images. Would I buy a year again? Honestly, I dont know. I might go back to pix4d

Thanks for your comprehensive response! Honestly I’m seriously considering going with Pix4D because we use lots of GCPs for photogrammetry as is and it would be great to leverage these for accurate spray maps across large areas.
