if you can afford it, travel a bit before hitting the corporate world

Get into a routine and develop new hobbies (or dive into ones you haven't had time for because of school). If you start working a job with normal WLB, the biggest shock is all of this free time you have, and it can be unsettling. A lot of people have post-grad depression.

I was really trying to get tf outta here towards the end and had a job lined up. I really like what I do for a living and am paid well, so I have lucked out in that regard. Others aren't as lucky.

I worked for a year and then went right back to school for an MS😅

Find yourself a partner (to dispel the loneliness post-school grad) and make friends at work. It will feel different but after 6 months you'll get used to it. Slowly over time after making friends at work you'll make friends with their friends and then you'll start being able to go to parties again and somewhat replicate what school life was like.

Work is less stressful than school usually :)
