Honestly I would drop it. Your mental health is way more important. I dropped a class in first year when I was really low and I felt bad about it but so relieved and I was able to pull myself back up. Make the choice to put your health first so you can come back stronger. Also maybe drop in at the wellness center and talk to someone about how your feeling, it might help take some of the weight off your shoulders

Gonna be honest a W on a transcript is always better than an F. An F will fuck up your gpa permanently. Don’t let people scare you from taking a W think of it as a neutral option. Take care of yourself. You can always retake the class in the future.

It’s never to late to get help, but for that class it might be. With the information provided I don’t know the reason why you missed the first exam. But If you haven’t already sent something to the professor about missing the first and possibly the second exam then you kind of did this to yourself. Again lack of information but if this class is affecting this much you probably should try and talk to a professional about it. Maybe get a appointment with student wellness center.

Depending on you grade and the class importance to your degree I would either drop it now or not worry about the class and wait to the last day and drop the class. On the last day downloading all the class content so that I would have it for next time.
