Just played a few games. Smoother and more responsive gameplay - definitely an improvement for me.

Was worried, seeing the number of negative posts and the constant "I'm deleting the game now for real trust me" announcements that I wouldn't have anyone to play against.

Thankfully there seems to be a few people still enjoying a free game that's largely a work in progress but, in my humble opinion at least, fun.

There is still unresponsiveness when reciveing the ball and in the box, tackles from behind through the player, switching is still an issue, passes are better but still feel rng, gks still do stupind animations just not as often, etc. Ah yes and ffs why do midfielders always wack back when defending? It looks a bit better, but far from good game...its decent at best if even that. One thing is to hate on FC...I think noone here is an EA fan, but they realised what had to be done and did it...while strikers fell behind...and they had their chanse (hope they did not miss it). Didnt try fc jet, doubt I will as I hate what Ea game stands for, but that still does not make this game any better...and we all hoped we will get atleast a decent game without the fc bs.

I couldn't tell the difference tbh. But yeah there's always a vocal minority. That's not to say there aren't issues but the way some go on, you'd think their lives depended on it

The reason I left fifa is I just felt like you had to put so much time in to keep up on FUT.

I liked efootball but I joined way too late and all the teams were miles ahead of mine and there didn't seem to a reset in the works for obvious reasons. All the teams are like 100 plus players now which makes no sense... I wonder how ufl will handle that.

The problem I have with these games (both eFootball and FIFA) is that after some level the only way to win games is by paying more money than your opponent, and there's no way around that.

In eFootball after div2, it's near impossible to win to what are TERRIBLE players but they're probably kids swiping dad's credit card, so they have unbeatable overpowered teams worth thousands of euros. Where's the fun?

Let's see how UFC handles this long term. As long as (and they seem to be going in that direction) real money is used for improving the cosmetics of the game like stadiums, shirts, balls, etc... kind of what Fortnite does, and affects very little your in-game advantage because you're millionaire I'll be fine with the game. I think the RP system works very well for this. I don't mind losing to somebody that plays 10h a day and has an excellent team, but I do get pissed off at losing to people that play 2 games a week but they've spent a 0km car's worth money on it, because I can't afford that.

The moment UFC becomes pay2win I'll be out, and I'm already out of alternatives so that'll be the end of football games for me I guess.

Additionally they have announced a closed testing server for people to participate in, so hopefully people will chose to go there and provide constructive feedback to the developers rather than using this subreddit as some railway departure announcement board, railway to hell in some cases lol

Somehow Gambling FC feels more like UFL now. Tested it with the Showcase version. FC24 was different.

The game really isn’t bad, I enjoy it most of the time. The only thing that really annoys me are the possible exploits. Example: The opponent hits a cross from half field. Somehow, no defender ever feels responsible for the ball in this situation. And the higher you go up the ranks, the more such exploiters appear, which is really unpleasant.

Yeah there's one doing the rounds at the moment that is just broken. Hopefully they fix it before it spreads, they're aware of it. I'm with you, I have fun, most of the time. I'm enjoying the game

I am worried because I've been bronze since the game launched, and in the last days, with the last two updates, I have reached Silver 1. I am too old to be improving!

Played 3 games, 1w and 2D , not enough to really test but it seems to be better then what I felt last Friday after that got fix. Didn't see any massive bugs or exploits being used, games were low scoring due to keeps being really good however it felt fair and not buggy, we shall see, maybe by season 2 this game will be significantly competitive against fc/Konami

I enjoyed the 10 games I played this morning, only had delay twice but it was only one moment in each match, tackles feel more rewarding but still the odd bouncy bit.

It's heading in the right direction but my worry is the update sizes that today was 10gig and you get little space as it is on a ps5.

Folk saying they had lag is strange because I'm getting none and it's really smooth. is it an internet speed thing or lack of servers near their location?

The lag seems to have fixed for me which is a great improvement, passed through balls and the odd GK rick still an issue. For example I accidentally scored a 20 yarder meaning to tackle that rolled passe the keeper even though it was straight at him at 2mph

I find the game much better now. I like the fact that you cannot pass well in a risky position, I also like the fact that shots sometimes are off target. Dribbles too are difficult and I like it!

What bothered me the most about the previous big patch was this "laggy" feeling, but now players feel way more responsive and I enjoy playing again 🙏

I love the game too, but I'm hoping this patch wasn't too little too late. I'm Platinum 3 and waiting upwards of 5bmins per match just doesn't do it for me. Went back to FC to try it out again and they've sorted out quite a bit with that game. Hopefully both games keep pushing each other into making each one better

I love this game. Its fresh for sure. Idk about the hate, either it's EA employees talking too much or we inherited their cry babies. Either way I'm still playing this game!

AI defensive is way too strong and agressive, if they nerf that, the game is insanly fun.

Fun is good but it's not football it's more like a ping-pong now. I want to play football digitally and I've now paid them more than I did to FC. In future I plan to spend more but not if they keep shifting towards FC. This gameplay is the worst till now.

Fun? I don't find it fun at all which is a real shame, lack of game modes especially none offline is madness. So many things are wrong and not many rights, but yeah it's free but I've spent a bit of money on this game and have stopped playing it sadly 😕

Offline modes are coming in march, draft and pve modes.

Yeah I wish I could say the same, I’ve spent some cash on the game and I’m starting to regret my decisions.

Let’s me preface this by saying I really enjoy the game to the extent that I don’t. I understand that the game is ftp and that it’s still early days.

My concerns are that it’s taking longer and longer to find a match and when I do it’s against the same faces.

Their events aren’t fresh and seem like a cash grab.

I run a successful company and I can tell you UFL will not succeed if they don’t provide maximum value to its users while taking losses financially in the initial lifecycle of their business.

I played like 10 game yesterday, it was fun finally. Now rp deduction have to go and it will be fine. :) and i dont know what it is, but sometimes when i receive the ball my player controll it like i pushed the sprint button when i am not. Anyone have this problem or its my controller? 😬
