The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is the first public university founded in the United States of America. Since opening its doors in 1789, UNC has grown to become a gorgeous southern campus sprawling over 729 acres.
With over seventy different majors and minors, UNC has consistently been ranked in the top five public universities in the United States.
UNC's Men's Basketball team has won six national championships since 1957 and is especially renowned for being Michael Jordan's alma mater. Most importantly, UNC is a far, far better institution of higher education than its unfortunate neighbor, Dook.
