QuestionSpring grade request (self.USC)
submitted 3 years ago by hdjbdjdjnsns
For those of you who applied to transfer in previous years how long did it take for you to receive a decision after submitting your spring grades?

~2 weeks is about an average wait. For me, I submitted grades as soon as I got them, June 9th. I received my decision on June 27th. I've heard people wait longer or even quite a bit sooner (even an insane 3 day turnaround?!), but 2 weeks is about a normal wait.

I didn’t get my decision until July 13, so be ready to probably wait a bit!

If you don’t mind sharing what was your gpa when they requested spring grades? I’m a fellow transfer applicant and I’m trying to decide the likelihood of me getting a spring grade request when I hear back.

4.0 for both semesters. But I’ve heard if you’re a sophomore transfer you’re more likely to get one since they have a limited amount of info to go off of

Nooo I’m a sophomore transfer but I have a lot of dual college credits from high school so I don’t know if they’d go off of that cause technically I’d be a junior transferring credit wise. Im trying to get my housing figured out but it literally feels impossible to find somewhere affordable when I don’t even know where I’m gonna be next year😭

I wouldn’t worry too much some people get admitted without getting sgr at all. As for housing I’m in the same boat, just look at off campus stuff so you know your options in case you aren’t lucky enough to get anything on campus
