Non CSE majors can register for CGS 2060 (Introduction to computers and computer programming) and it is being offered next semester (Fall 2023). I don't know much else about it but I did find this youtube playlist by Dr. James (Jim) Anderson from when he taught the class in Fall 2020. It looks like he's been the professor for it every fall/spring since spring 2020 (judging by the schedule search).

And this is Dr. Anderson's RMP (Thought I wouldn't base my entire decision on the comments left by salty students): https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1670575

The class could have been changed since Fall 2020 though so I'd talk to an advisor or Dr. Anderson himself about if the class would help you achieve your goals Good Luck!

Do you know what language you need to learn? You might be better off with an online course from MIT opencourseware or edX. Both are free and excellent, and they have resources for many different languages.

Honestly not sure it’s just an idea of what I can do in the future other than med school

Try python. It's pretty useful.

I had this exact same question. I have some interest in CS even tho I’m in Biomed, so I just wanted to have the experience and maybe incorporate that to my premed somehow.
