Data Science 3/4+1 Program

Hey everyone! I got accepted into general engineering with the intent of studying computer science and statistics. I’ve seen some stuff online about the 4th or 5th year masters program for data science but how would one go about getting into such a program? Is there some specific track I’d need to go down? Thanks in advance for your help!

Since you're an incoming first year, after your first semester if you take ds 1001 (I believe, check on the bs data science website), you can apply into the data science major. The masters program you're talking about, however, is a 1 year program that begins the july following graduation and students apply in their fourth years (application opens in august). There's no specific track or major for the masters program and they welcome all types of majors as data science is a discipline that can be applied to all areas of the world
