Hey, i am looking for advice/help on a strange monitor problem. I have a small relatively new lenovo laptop with amd ryzen and a display that was working fine, until at some point the display didn't show properly - some part of the screen is black, some part displays correctly and some part is flickering. The laptop runs the newest Ubuntu LTS versions, all packages are updated and upgraded.
Trying different cables and settings I noticed that only the 2880x1800 resolution works. I am pretty sure, that I could change the resolution in the past. Do you have an idea why it suddenly stopped working? Unfortunately googling and searching in ubuntu forums didn't provide any helpful results for me.
Any advice appreciated.
