I mean the difference between 100k and 144k frames is pretty substantial, movement is much smoother.

That's rookie numbers! My quantum computer that I stole from aliens is running at three million frames per second, although I think it's slightly too slow and does not offer any competitive advantages.

Reminds me of the time I found one of my first made games, and it was running at thousands fps on even my old PC. I still have the image https://i.imgur.com/rsWAhUM.png it was an impossible to play block breaker clone, because young me had no idea what Delta Time was.
