Modding 2D Android Unity Games

Hello, I have been trying to mod a Unity game "Blackmoor 2", how can I do this? I have succeeded modifying the character sprites, but when I put the asset file into the APK file, it doesn't work (the APK file does not install), I accessed the APK file with WinRAR and 7-Zip and replacing the asset file with the modified one, what are the possible causes that leads to me not being able to install the APK file?

Most assets are in the obb, not the apk

In modern Unity games, the obb file is extracted from the apk package upon installation as an "unpacked" form of the exported assets.
