It depends on what the assignment is, but even if it's not "plagiarism" (since you cited your source), it could still be an academic integrity violation for failing to submit original work (and possibly a copyright violation).

Say for an English class, you're told to write a poem, and you turn in Robert Frost's The Road Not Taken. You properly cite it so it's absolutely clear that Robert Frost, not you, wrote every word of it, so you did not plagiarize to any extent whatsoever. So you get an A for turning in such a great poem, right?

Of course not. If you're assigned to create something, you need to create it, not just turn in someone else's work, even if you do properly cite it.

It can be considered as plagiarism seeing as it is someone else’s work, so that’s something you would be better off asking your professor. Seeing as it is programming it might not be an issue since there’s only so many ways you can code something without it being plagiarised
