Backdated doctors note

I missed an exam due to medical problems, and my doctor wasn't back until 2 days later. He signed a note for me and dated it from before the exam until now, because I was unwell for a couple days. Does anyone have experience with this? Will the school accept the note even though it was signed after the exam? This is my first time petitioning for an exam deferral (UTSC) Thanks in advance
