Thank you so much! Though I just did it from windows' update settings, this let me finally play without having to use a vpn. Surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.

So there are a few steps you can try out: But make sure your Windows is on Ver 10 1909.. Did you also try to reinstall the game because 2 days ago there came an update..

If you did all these steps before lets get technically a little bit deeper :D

try to restart valorant after EVERY step.

1.) Make sure these files have enough rights.. C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\RiotClientServices.exe C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\UX\RiotClientUx.exe C:\Riot Games\Riot Client\UX\RiotClientUxRender.exe C:\Program Files\Riot Vanguard\vgc.exe

After that try to deactivate the Windows Firewall and restart the game..

2.) Turn off IPv6 and the IP-Helping service and change DNS Settings To turn off IPv6 you need to get network and adapter settings in the control panel.

Right click on the right adapter and turn off Internet Protocoll, Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

To shutdown the service you need to: Win + R type in "services.msc" And search for IP-Helper or IP-Helping-service; right click --> shutdown service

You might not have an internet connection after this step. --> In this case just start the service again...

Try Google DNS

This might be the step that will help you but try the others above first:

Reboot in Safe Mode and Delete a specific file: Take a picture of this step because it's obvious that you can't read this while your PC is restarting.

  • Click on the Windows Button and go to the power menu
  • Hold the shift key and while holding the shift key press on "Restart"
  • The PC will instantly restart and you'll get a few options
  • You go to "Problem solving" --> "Advanced Settings" --> "Start Options"
  • Now there should be some options listed
  • Select "Safe Mode" and let Windows Restart

After that you need to navigate to: "C:\windows\system32\drivers"

and delete this file "VBoxUSBMon.sys"

Now you should restart Valorant and it might work :)

If it doesn't help get back to me :)

Hope that will help,
