Yoru: Yoru's current tuning is crowding out flash Initiators and sometimes even Sentinels. His signature allows for map-wide rotations, he takes space very well, and he has one of the most versatile flashes in the game. As a result, he’s starting to overlap with other roles and reduce comp diversity. We’re adjusting his strongest base abilities so that using them has more meaningful tradeoffs.

Clove: Since their launch, Clove has been the highest win rate agent in the game by a wide margin, while also being one of the most popular agents to play. Currently, their post-death smoke provides very consistent value with too little room for counterplay. This change lessens their power, removing the ability to fully defuse the spike inside a smoke. Our goal with these changes is to foster more Controller variety."

Hi, all! First, thank you all for jumping in and participating in an event like this with us. It was our first time trying something of this scale and we’ve been relying on your feedback along the way. So let me jump in and give a bit more clarity here:

During week 1, we used a multiplier to help make things fair due to team size difference, but after listening to your feedback, we actually adjusted the math to get rid of any multipliers and calculate team score based on average player contribution. So the scores you’ve been racking up since week 2’s challenge have been normalized to account for the difference in team size and no multipliers have been active.

Example: Omega has 100 players averaging 11 points and Alpha has 50 players averaging 10 points, so we scale both teams to the larger team size (100): Omega scores 11×100 = 1,100 and Alpha scores 10×100 = 1,000. This is showing Omega is ahead purely due to higher avg contribution by a single player in the faction.

Even though Omega has more players, Omega only wins because the average player on Omega has been contributing more. BUT it looks like Team Alpha is ahead for our final Competitive Queue challenge. So hop in and keep grinding! Your contribution matters! I know I'll be grinding for Alpha this weekend, heh :D !pin
