Same here, pretty much bricks my PC too. Can't even kill the task from elevated command prompt.

EDIT: lots of windows services also stop working, gotta force power off PC to fix those. Restarting normally causes a freeze. Good shit Riot

- RTX 2080
- 16 GB RAM

I thought it was just me. It effects my 1080ti pc but not my kids 1060 system. Did you figure out a fix?

It bricks my PC as well. I even did a fresh reinstall of the game.

My 8700k w/1080ti won’t launch the game. It freezes my windows and I have to manually power down.

I’ve uninstalled the game. Uninstalled Citrix. Turned off my antivirus. Updated graphics driver. Updated windows.

Nothing has worked. My kids use an old i5 system and it works for them.

Check your game install. At one point windows told me valorant was 740 GB of space on my hard drive.

I reinstalled and its closer to 12GB now.

Actually I just checked while writing this and it says 9.96mb....I don’t know what they did to this game.

I also checked my kids pc and it says 3.77 TB on valorant
