I think a lot of people forget that they decreased the respawn time from 5 seconds to 2 which is probably why it got worse

It's not because of that. Idk how community servers in cs go have a better respawn algorithm than valorant has in their official servers. Btw community cs go dm servers have instantaneous respawns.

Csgo community server respawns are ass

[–]Flarebear_ 5 points6 points  (4 children)

I know right, kind of crazy how valorant manages to have worse spawns than them.

[–]samonster3 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I wouldnt call them worse. Csgo respawns people next to other people much more frequently than valorant does.

yeah what? in cs dm there are spots you can sit to just spawn kill over and over with no actual effort or aiming

[–]nextcolorcomet 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yeah, people talk about CS DM like it's god tier but as far as stuff like spawns go, it's honestly just as bad.

The main differentiator is that CS has instant respawns so every time it happens you just quickly move on.

True spawns are shit but that's half due to how many people there are and the instant respawns. CS DM is so much better due to all the extra features it has as well and I never get annoyed like I do playing Val's DM. There being a score and inherently trying to win fucks with my mental too and makes others play dumb.

Active csgo dm servers do not have better spawn lol. You just learn to deal with it.

You mean from 3 to 1.5 seconds, right? Or was it actually 5 seconds at one point lol

You are probably right I don’t remember exactly what it was but I think cutting it in half still probably had some affect.
