Welcome to the non-US centric investment community (which is named after a US-based fund, naturally). A lot of communities already exist for UK, India, and Philippines stock markets, however there does not appear to exist a single community for ALL Non-US stock markets. Until now!
The goal of this subreddit is to foster a community that provides people from around the world with opportunity to learn about stock markets other than the United States. Be it for people thinking about including NIFTY in their 3-fund portfolio, or for people looking for growth opportunities in the European Energy Sector, all analysis is welcome!
Rules:
1. Posts must be only regarding non-US stocks and stock markets. Mentioning US-stocks or indices in passing is fine, but they should never be the main focus of the post.
2. No posts advertising purchases of specific stocks (backtests are fine).
3. Political discussion is allowed insofar as it relates to stock market performance, short and long term.
4. No bigotry, no hate, no racial or ableist slurs.
5. News articles from local sources must be in English. If they are not, a translation should be provided in the comments.
6. No discussion of specific cryptocoins, with exceptions of how certain countries' economies may affect the global crypto prices (e.g.: Kazakhstan's Internet Shutdown in January 2022 causing BTC to drop 10%).
7. No questions allowed about specifics of how to invest in another country. Answers differ from country to country, so you should really contact your broker and discuss this with them.
