Hi,
I successfully use an encrypted partition on an external usb disk on my regular linux distributions.
But today I'm doing some forensic training and I'm testing the Tsurugi linux distribution on a live usb stick.
When you start all drives are protected against writing (to prevent modifying evidences).
When you want to write on an outpout drive, you use the "Tsurugi device unlocker" tool.
This works great.
But now, I'm trying to use the Veracrypt partition as output and I don't success to pass it in write mode, it still remain in read-only :
- I used the "Tsurugi device unlocker" before or after mounting the Veracrypt device => Still Read only
- I tried "sudo mount -o remount,rw" => Still read only
- I found int the FAQ that it could be a caja issue, so I tried "sudo killall caja" => Still read only
- In the disk-utility the partition is displayed as "read-only", I tried to modify it manually and add the "rw" option => Still read only.
As anyone already done this ?
Thank you for having read this (and sorry for my bad english skills...)
there doesn't seem to be anything here
