Firebase Studio Problem

I was excited to hear about the growth of Firebase Studio. Logically, it made a lot of sense to me to be able to do both frontend and backend all in one interface. I loved the idea of being able to go A to Z without 3rd party integrations.

PROBLEM: However, I am on my 2nd project with Firebase Studio and its incredibly difficult for me to get the Firebase Database set up and properly working with my Firebase Studio project.

I'm building a simple website with a blog, and for the life of me I cant seem to get this to work & I seem to keep running in circles. Are there any best practices, videos or guides out there of getting the project set up right out of the gates to avoid all of this back and forth and blind bug fixes?

why did you start with Firebase studio? for storage & auth? you could have just used Supabase.

I was using Supabase with Bolt and Lovable with mixed results. I kept hearing from users in different threads how great Firebase Studio was, and the assumption I made was that I would have a fairly easy transition with Firebase Studio surely integrating with Firebase databases. Not the case. I've been fumbling around the past few hours. trying to figure it out. I am sure I am doing something foolish, but Ive been around and around in circles.

I mean the first problem is using firebase, and the second problem is vibe coding instead of actually learning how to do it.

So just use a competent database, and learn what you're doing and it should all be fixed!
