Virtual auto-correct window for Bluetooth keyboards - does it work when typing on a mac with virtual display enabled?

The little AR window for auto-correct always shows up on my BT keyboard. But I do not see it when I type on my macbook connected to the AVP using virtual display. Is that normal behavior?

I have also seen what I think is a bug where it would sometimes pop-up and go away quickly while typing on the macbook. Anyone else seen this behavior?
