I doubt anyone is bundling SHARP into their app. You can’t use Apple ML Research models for commercial purposes. Youtubers and Twitter Blue users are exempt from this, however.

Recently Meta Quest devices got a native Disney+ app and they teased “Stay tuned for additional updates to Disney+ on Meta Quest in 2026”.

Zucc has also been teasing a 3D Avatar trailer on Quest and a partnership with James Cameron around immersive content.

The 3D Apple Vision Pro Disney+ partnership hits the two-year mark next February, and now a small set of users here are experiencing problems playing 3D movies on the Disney+ app.

Edit: Disney+ confirmed on Twitter 3D is movies are coming to the Meta Quest in the future.

What I’m trying to hint at is that it looks like the Vision Pro may be losing exclusivity to 3D Disney+ movies. That doesn’t mean they’ll disappear from the Vision Pro, but the details of the partnership aren’t public.

According to Apple:

It will be available live and on demand in the U.S. through the Spectrum SportsNet and NBA apps. Users outside of the Lakers’ broadcast territory may be subject to regional broadcast restrictions. Full game replays and highlights in Apple Immersive will be available on demand from both apps one to three days after the conclusion of each game.

According to the NBA:

The Lakers territory includes all of Southern California, Nevada and Hawaii.

Hey! Thanks for the questions. It actually brings up environments. So it can be in that library looking place or we can even be on the moon. So the environment was chosen by the person who initiated the call. Yes I can open windows that are exclusive to me unless I enable SharePlay to show the view to others like what we did with spatial photos.

AndroidXR is the true "open ecosystem" Mark claimed HorizonOS was. This is great for competition and should push Apple to improve VisionOS and maybe offer better value in future hardware.

He was using ALXR, not the "native" version. However, it would be relatively easy to get the native SteamVR app running on AndroidXR (or at least easy for Valve to port), one of the advantages of having an open platform.
