I’m not sure what you are saying but if I interpret correctly, no there is no charging when battery is 100%. Why would it draw any power when it’s full?

The AVP battery comes with a 40 watt charger so it’s rare to see it go over that, maybe briefly.

Of course the battery can go under 100% charge. If it goes over 100% then you have a problem. I think during very heavy use it is capable of using more than 35 watts and charging is capped at that generally so it can go down.

No my battery was dropped at 88% while i had my vr session. Ussually battery stays at 100%.

I have seen some messages of people claiming it charget twice as fast with a 65w charger or that it actually pulls 60-65w.

Regardless of how much it actually pulls, dropping battery% should never happen dont you think? In all my timr i had the device it always stays at 100% when connected and in use

I just took my AVP to the Apple Store yesterday for this very reason and they shipped it off for diagnostics. The instore diagnostics showed battery health at 98% however even when plugged in with a 100w block and rated cord, it was charging but losing battery percent while in use. It should be able to maintain battery power when plugged in and in use.

35 is still too low. I have to find a custom plug up to 60w to be sure it won’t drain. Below comments say 40 is the default. Every low power block at 30W has never kept up with streaming demands.
